Bilbo Meets Smaug

In March Jul took part in an art competition. The task was to illustrate a favourite scene of a favourite book. Since Jul simply loves dragons, and she’s been fascinated with The Hobbit recently, she chose the scene in which Bilbo meets Smaug. 

She intended her Smaug to be the scariest, the most horrible, generally ‘the…’ 

So, here’s the final work – Julie got an honourable mention for that, and the art show with all the awarded works could be seen in a bookshop in a fashionable shopping centre in Wroclaw. It was the first external competition for Julie and this fact makes us even more happy with her success! :)

W marcu Jul wziął udział w konkursie plastycznym. Tematem pracy miało być zilustrowanie sceny z ulubionej książki. Ze względu na zamiłowanie Julki do smoków i ostatnią fascynację „Hobbitem” wybór padł na scenę w której Bilbo spotyka Smauga.

Oto więc konkursowa praca, Julka została wyróżniona w tymże konkursie a wernisaż z pracami nagrodzonym można było zobaczyć w empiku we wrocławskiej Renomie. To pierwszy zewnętrzny konkurs w którym Julka wzięła udział. Tym bardziej się cieszymy z jej sukcesu! :)
